IPPERWASH BEACH – a 10-15 minute walk away along the road or on paths threw Carolinian woodlands and a series of forested dunes to the beach; a 5 minute bike ride (there’s bikes and a bicycle shed on the property), or a 2 minute drive to Lake Huron. At the lake, there’s ample free parking and miles of some of Ontario’s finest beaches.

Snowmobile, ski or ATV trails can begin at the front door
Several excellent nearby public and private golf courses
Movie and live theaters, Forest movie theatre, Huron County and Petrolia play houses
A variety of superb local restaurants, fruit and vegetable stands, farm stores, fresh lake fish (pickerel, lake trout, salmon, perch, bass).
