Description
Secluded, Scandinavian Modern Cabin in the Superior National Forest of Northern Minnesota. In the Arrowhead, close to Ely and the North Shore.
Provides tons of summer and winter recreational activities: swimming, kayaking, fishing, canoeing, bird-watching, hiking, exploring the forests. Cross-Country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, dog sledding.
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Beautifully renovated in 2001. 12-foot high ceilings, skylights, fully equipped kitchen. Wood floors. Wrap around outdoor deck. Jump in the water from the deck.
Watch sunset across the cabin. Cabin is grandfathered in, built in 1948, right on the lake shore. All rooms have views to the lake.
Separate dock for boats, included with the rental. Screened porch, right on the lake shore. Beautifully landscaped, flowers. Fire-pit by the lake-shore and a larger camp-fire area for cooking outdoors or smores, up the hill
Separate Finnish Sauna, with wood-burning stove. Jump into the lake after the sauna. Hike the fabulous Flathorn-Gegoka Trails or the Superior Hiking Trail.
The cabin has lots of books on hiking the area, plus coffee-table books on the flora & fauna of the area.
