Description

This spacious and charming year round home on historic lake Roosevelt is the up north cabin getaway that you have been dreaming of. It’s setting is very private and shaded by tall whispering pines. It sits on the very spot that President Roosevelt traveled through to his lodge across the lake.

It is snuggled right beside the lake and features a large dock, boat lift, extra lake-side deck and fire pit. It’s gorgeous west facing view gives you fabulous sunsets and romantic moon lite nights on the water’s edge.

Kids will enjoy the lake’s sand bottom, a gentle slope to deeper water and pan fishing from the dock. Lake Roosevelt is a good fishing lake that is eight miles long and connected to lake Lawrence for more boating pleasure. Several large Walleye and Northern are caught on this lake. Spring and fall crappie fishing is fabulous!

The large chalet style cabin has a stunning view of the lake. It also has a large and convenient eat-in kitchen, a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a huge attached deck. The deck has a big picnic table and much deck furniture plus a gas grill.

There are three bedrooms with two queen beds and one double bed. The master bedroom also has it’s own deck. There is additional sleeping for two in the den. There are two baths, a laundry room, a extra large attached two stall garage with an extra fridge and a paved driveway with lots of parking.

Lakeside dining, shopping and area attractions are only minutes away even though the cabin is very secluded and peaceful. There are lots of local seasonal festivals and everyone is friendly. One stay and you will want to come back.

RATES: One week minimum stay during season. Weeks during season go from Saturday to Saturday. Discounts for longer stays.

Pet allowed with pre-approval and additional deposit and rental fee.

Any group over 6 people requires an additional rental fee per person. Deposit required with reservation.
