Description

This sweet cottage is tucked into the woods and is perfect for the family or couples. With a big kitchen, dining room table, and living room with wood stove, it has “country home” written all over it. Charming and cozy and even romantic; Stargazer is a warm refuge in the winter and a cool retreat in the summer.

Pick apples from the historic apple trees on your walk to the pond. Take a left, follow the trail markers, and walk down to the river. The kids or the dog are within sight from the kitchen, or the back porch, as they play in the fenced in yard.

It’s a short drive to Margaretville with shopping, antiquing, galleries, and restaurants. About 20 minutes to Belleayre Mountain and Lake. About 25 minutes to Ski Plattekill.
