Description

Enjoy the seclusion and excellent location of Big Bear Retreat. You’ll be just 4 miles from Bryson City, 5 miles from Fontana Lake and 7 miles from the Nantahala rafting area. While in the center of all the attractions, you will enjoy being on a forested mountaintop with great views of the Smokys. This cabin features lots of room for your family, 3 bedrooms featuring 2 queen beds and 2 twins, a large living room, a full length covered back porch with a hot tub plus a separate screened sitting porch and a more rockers on the front porch. In addition, there is a large game room that has both an air hockey table and foosball table, a dartboard and lots of seating for a separate gathering away from the main living area. There is even free wireless internet access!

In the large living room you can watch a movie on the satellite TV while enjoying a warm fire in the real wood burning rock fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen is just around the corner and there is plenty of room for 6 to have a great meal at the dining room table. If grilling is your forte, you’ll find the gas BBQ on the back porch the perfect place to cook while enjoying the view of the mountains. In the evening you can take in the mountain view while relaxing in the very private hot tub. When you are ready to retire, you can use the private entrance to the master bedroom and fall asleep in the queen poster bed amongst the warmth of the log walls.

Holidays High Season Rate
3-5 night minimum on: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
7 day minimum on: Christmas, New Years

Price is plus tax. State tax is 7.75%, Local tax is 3%. Additional person or pet rent may apply.

Above prices include normal cleaning fees. Kitchen utensils, linens and towels, starter amount of paper products, and hotel-sized amounts of toiletries are provided.
