Description
Smoky Bear’s Den is the Perfect Winter Getaway! With three bedrooms and two baths, Smoky Bear’s Den is perfect for a family or a couple’s getaway. From the moment you arrive at Smoky Bear’s Den you’ll be embraced by cozy Southern hospitality in the gleam of the amber logs. Huddle around the real wood fireplace on frosty winter nights or drizzly summer afternoons and enjoy the satellite TV with loved ones or tell stories in the flickering fire light. The well stocked kitchen has a dishwasher so you can spend more time with loved ones and less time cleaning up. You can seat up to six people at the bar overlooking the kitchen.
Let the light of sunsets and sunrises brush over you on the porch where you can swing, sip coffee on the wicker furniture, or grill. Enjoy the hot tub year round with the trees surrounding you in privacy and the wind and birds whispering out Nature’s gentle song.
Let the Great Smoky Mountains soothe your soul as you find sanctuary at Smoky Bear’s Den.
Smoky Bear’s Den is just over ten minutes from downtown Bryson City where you can enjoy local restaurants, specialty shops, several entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, waterfalls, biking, tubing, and the Great Smoky Mountain Rail Road.
White-water rafting in the warmer months is just a short trip to either the Nantahala Gorge in the West or the Tuckasegee River in the East.
Visit Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation – just twenty minutes away. In Cherokee, NC, you will find craft shops, museums, the Cherokee Phoenix Twin Theaters, and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. The Cherokee Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park offers hiking, a visitor’s center with a live farm, and access to the TN side of the National Park. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are just a scenic drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for day trips.
