Description

You’re Invited to Three Cubs Lodge! This airy 4 Bedroom/3 bath lodge is located 15 miles from downtown Bryson City, NC. The fully equipped kitchen boasts all appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, plenty of cookware, dishes, casseroles and even a crock pot. The dining room table seats six to eight and the breakfast bar seats up to four, so there is plenty of room for the whole family to savor meals together. Enjoy the flickering gas fireplace and cozy country furniture while watching satellite TV or a movie on the DVD player. You’ll love the dreamy Master Bedroom with its queen bed, large closet, balcony and porch swing, and full bath with jetted tub. Perfect for another couple, the cozy second bedroom also has a queen bed and the windows look out into tranquility. The bright and cheery third bedroom is on the main level and has a bunk bed. The fourth bedroom is in the loft. The loft is open and spacious with a sitting area, access to a deck, and a full bathroom with shower. The bunk bed has a Full sized bottom that converts to a futon for more socializing upstairs, and the couch in the sitting area opens into a sleeper sofa.

For things to do, you’ve hit the jackpot! Access to the Little Tennessee River off of Needmore Road is just moments away. On the Little Tennessee River you can fish, tube, walk along the swinging bridge, and even canoe or kayak. Venture to the nearby town of Bryson City and find quaint antique stores, specialty shops, and scrumptious local restaurants. The Everett Street Diner is a local favorite for traditional breakfasts and lunches. Locals rave about the casual dining and great soups at Jimmy Mac’s Restaurant. You can enjoy the Nantahala Gorge by train on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, by zip line on the Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours, or by raft with Endless Rivers. The Deep Creek Entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Bryson City is a great location for viewing waterfalls, hiking, and tubing. There’s always Harrah’s Cherokee Casino with dining, gambling, concerts and more! Other local activities include horse back riding, gem mining, boating at Fontana Lake and more. Nearby scenic drives include Tail of the Dragon, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Cherohala Skyway.

For day trips, you may want to travel the Cherokee Entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park into Gatlinburg, TN or Pigeon Forge, TN. For a closer trip, the kids will enjoy the Fun Factory in Franklin, NC, with arcade games, go-carts, bowling, and miniature golf.

Price is plus tax. State tax is 7.75%, Local tax is 3%. Additional person or pet rent may apply.

Above prices include normal cleaning fees. Kitchen utensils, linens and towels, starter amount of paper products, and hotel-sized amounts of toiletries are provided.
