Loved the log cabin. First time we have stayed on the West Shore on recommendtion from friends in San Francisco – felt like Tahoe 20 years ago. We prefer it to the South & North shores – they have grown “too” fast. Snowman building and snow-shoeing down at the creek was the best!

Loved the log house – beautiful home and great location. Homewood Ski Resort is one of our favorite ski locations and being so close we didn’t have to rush in the morning to get to the slopes – we even came back for lunch one day. Kids enjoyed sledding down to the creek on the property. We’ll be back.

Thanks for renting the house, it was great to be walking distance to the lake – Chambers Landing has one of our favorite beaches. Kids camped on the creek on the property. Having the creek and the lake at our doorstep was the best of Tahoe.

New 3BR+Loft/2BA log house on 2 acres on year-round McKinney creek in Homewood 7 minutes south of Tahoe City @ Chambers Landing. Short walking distance to lake shore @ Chambers Landing and West Shore Bike Trail. Sleeps 9+.

New log home has been custom built of 14 inch Engleman Spruce logs by craftsmen from British Columbia. Home has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and log beams, Spruce T&G paneling, tile and hardwood floors. Log home is decorated in a rustic Tahoe style to compliment the beautiful wood interior. Large main deck and private loft deck overlook McKinney Creek which runs year-round. House has two Vermont-Castings cast iron stoves with glass doors, one upstairs and another down stairs.

Home is professionally cleaned after each rental and sleeps 9+ in 3 bedrooms + loft. Upstairs master bedroom has one queen, loft has one queen fold-out futon, downstairs bedroom #1 has one queen, bedroom #2 has one full and twin bunks. Bring your own bed linens and shower towels (or we can arrange to provide them for an additional fee) – all beds have pillows, blankets and comforters.

Private 2 acres leads down to year-round McKinney Creek with room for private winter snow play. Lake Tahoe is a short 1/2 mile walk or drive to the Chambers Landing public beach & pier. Homewood Ski Resort is 1 mile from the house. The Tahoma Market PDQ is 1 mile up the road and Tahoe City is 12 minutes away with shops, grocery stores and restaurants.

Close favorite spots include Homewood Ski Resort, Chambers Landing Beach/Pier, Meeks Bay, the West Shore Blvd Bike Path, Sunnyside Restaurant, Obexer’s public boat launch & dock, Sugar Pine Point, DL Bliss and Emerald Bay state parks. Homewood Ski Resort is 3 minutes from the cabin, Squaw Valley (1968 Olympic Site) and Alpine Meadows ski resorts -15 minutes, North & South Shore casinos are 30 minutes away.

House is $290.00 p/night. A cleaning fee of $140.00 is required for each rental period in addition to a refundable $300.00 security deposit.

For larger groups ask about our cute 2BR cabin, sleeps 5+ with queen, full and twin bunk beds. House & cabin together sleep 15+ and are great for 3+ families.

The log home is complete with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms/2 with whirlpool tubs. Sleeps 10 maximum.

Nestled atop a ridge overlooking Sugar Lake. A path descends down to the dock and lake with a small motorized fishing boat on lift and a paddle boat that are available for your use. There is a small bench for fish-cleaning down by the dock. Hiking trails abound in this 52 acre mature hardwood-forested private sanctuary.

Get in touch with your “wild side”. Great fishing and swimming.

An open floor plan featuring a hand-selected authentic fieldstone fireplace in the living area with expansive windows that offer views of the lake. Satellite TV available, TV, stereo, DVD and CD players. The kitchen is complete with granite counter tops, glass-top electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with outside water and ice dispenser. An island with 4 bar stools. Kitchen dishes, cookware, utensils, glasses and kitchen dishtowels are available. The laundry room is located off of the kitchen with stackable “HE” washer and dryer.

There is a 4-season porch located off of the kitchen/dining area that accesses to the upper deck.

Loft master bedroom overlooks the living space below complete with balcony. The master bathroom is complete with shower and a whirlpool tub. Two bedrooms on main level, each having access to a bathroom, with main bathroom having a shower and whirlpool tub and the other just a shower. And one bedroom in the lower level plus a queen mattress futon.

There is a bathroom with a shower located in the lower level too. Bedding is provided, however, renters must supply their own bath towels. Lower level is a walkout to a deck with a picnic table and benches.

There is a tuckunder two-stall garage with entrance to the lower level inside. A Weber gas grill is on upper deck. One firepit located just off of the deck. Firewood available for the campfire.

Sugar Lake is 702 acres in size.

This is a split level 4 bedroom, 2 bath handcrafted log home located on the north end of pristine Lake Owen, the jewel of the North.

Lake Minnewawa is the best kept secret in Northern Minnesota. This sprawling 3,000 acre lake has the best fishing around. The many bays & arms of this lake offer virtually endless shorelines to enjoy with your family in the boat.

This beautiful cabin has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds and an open loft with full bed and sleeper sofa. Cabin also offers: 2 full bathrooms, great room with beautiful stone, woodburning fireplace and fantastic flat walkout to the lake, American Cherry hardwood flooring, large lakeside deck with patio furniture and gas and charcoal grills, fire pit located next to sandy beach and private dock, screened in gazebo near lake.

Pontoon available, $600/week and pontoon will be ready at your dock with full tank of gas.
