The exact mileage from Hwy 202 and Gilbert Road in North Mesa to the cabin is 120 miles. Please allow approximately 2 and 1/2 hours travel time.

Nestled among 7 acres of tall Ponderosa Pines, you will feel alone in the wilderness. The only visible residents are located on the next parcel to the North and across the main road, Freds Road. The front of the cabin faces the creek and the National Forest. Enjoy the 11′ x 32′ front deck as you take in the view. Many times deer, elk, squirrels and other wildlife are visible from the front porch.

Amenities:
Inside the cabin (built in 2006) you will find uncompromised luxury. A fully functional kitchen (no food) with all appliances including: stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, dinnerware, glasses, table service and a full 10′ long breakfast bar. The bathroom is fully furnished including a hair dryer. (Please bring your personal items such as razor, toothbrush, etc.) The bedroom has a queen size lodge-pole bed with a memory foam style mattress for your comfort. There are night stands with touch lamps and access to a large walk in closet. The living room includes a real cinder block fireplace with a rustic log mantle. The futon in the living room will fold out to sleep 2 more people. A window seat (the favorite among children) will also convert to a single bed and can accommodate 1 adult or two small children. Satellite TV is available as well as a DVD/VCR combo player. RV Hookups: For those with relatives or friends that prefer to stay in an RV, there are full hookups on the South side of the cabin. Included are 110V/220V+water+septic hookups. For an extra fee, others in your party can hook up their RV and enjoy! Included are hammocks for two, a BBQ and picnic tables.

Enjoy hiking and exploring among the 7 acres or continue further West to National Forest Service Land. Fishing is available 8 miles away at Haigler Creek. Drive into town and enjoy fine dining with a view at Alice’s Restaurant. Church services are available at various locations throughout the town. During certain times of the year, horseback riding may be available-inquire locally. Hunting guides are also available.

We have three beautiful outdoor sitting areas, which include a screened Arizona room, facing east for the sunrise, a shaded interior patio looking onto our native cactus-landscaped yard, and a roof deck. The roof deck, with a 360 degree view of the Tucson basin and sunsets over the Tucson and Catalina Mountains, provides a spectacular setting for outdoor coffee, margaritas, or hors d’oeuvres.

The interior of the home and Guest House are decorated and furnished with comfort and charm in mind. The kitchen is well appointed for all your gourmet cooking needs. The colorful dishware, cutlery, serving pieces, bake ware, complete set of cooking utensils, blender, cuisinart, coffee maker, new electric stove and oven, will inspire the creative chef inside you. The double sink and dishwasher will please the clean-up crew.

In addition to the living room with a working kiva fireplace and two lush couches, is a separate sitting room with a TV, DVD player, and writing desk. You will also find a 2nd TV in the kitchen and 3rd TV in the Guest House master bedroom, all on Dish network. A docking station for your iPod is integrated into the sound system, which is wired to speakers throughout the Main House as well as all outside sitting areas.

For true relaxation there is a hot tub to lounge in and around. We also have a washer and dryer for your convenience as well as central air conditioning in the Main House and an evaporative swamp cooler in the Guest House.

We are located 3 minutes from Saguaro National Park West; 5 minutes from I-10; and 20 to 30 minutes from most of the city’s attractions, restaurants, and businesses, including all venues of The Tucson Gem Show, The Desert Museum, the University of Arizona, Arizona Museums, Pima Air and Space Museum, Northwestern Hospital, San Xavier du Bac church, downtown Tucson, all Northwest Tucson restaurants and shopping. In addition there are numerous golf courses, tennis clubs, horseback riding stables, and even ballooning to enjoy.

If you are single, you will appreciate the sense of community we have here in the park — you will feel safe here and you will be among friends. We have a monthly newsletter, potluck, and a variety of community activities for those who wish to socialize.

We provide free DishNetwork with premium channels (HBO and Encore premium channels), water, and sewer; you pay your own electric. Each spot has a sizable cement pad/patio and small yard. You are welcome to erect fences or even sun rooms for greater privacy and more living space. Gardens are welcome, too!

We accept only monthly rentals, per Bullhead City regulations. We are sorry, but we have no units for rent – you must either bring your own RV or you may purchase one of the two units that are currently for sale in the park.
