The fall colors on the lake with the mix of hardwoods, and pines is really unbeatable, The groomed X-country ski trails just on the other side of the lake are awesome. This area has been referred to as a “Mecca of cross-country skiing”.

Summer/Fall rates Memorial weekend – Sept 30 – $250 per night

Outdoor Features
2 Private dock’s and swimming area, room for 3 boats to tie off safely, a 16ft canoe for your use, a large private yard with horse shoe pit’s, volley ball net, large fire pit with fire wood provided by the lake, and a smaller fire place in the back yard, gas grill, and charcoal grill also included for your use.

Main level sleeping arrangements
1st Bedroom has 1 queen size bed. 2nd Bedroom has a full size bed and bunk bed. Loft area is 10′x 18′ and has 1 full size bed, and bunk bed. Main level has 1 full bath off the kitchen.

Big kitchen with a large kitchen island features an open floor plan that connects to the dining area, and family room. Two 3 pane sliding glass doors lead to a large 10′x 30′ Deck over looking the lake with huge Norway pines in front.

Lower level sleeping arrangements
Bedroom has 1 queen size bed and bunk bed. Lower level has huge custom tiled bathroom with a giant walk-in shower that is perfect for running through after a day in the water and on the lake.

451 acre Trego Lake
This Lake is part of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway/Namekagon River. I personally think one of the best things about the lake is no jet ski’s are allowed. But all sizes boats and motors are. Good fishing right off the dock, and great swimming too. The lake bottom in front is sand and rock with almost no weeds. Muskie fishing on Trego Lake is good also.

The General Area

Groomed cross country ski trails are right across the lake, and the fall colors on the lake are absolutely unbelievable, 250 miles of Snowmobile trails in Washburn County alone, and just 20 miles to Hayward.

If you’re into GOLF there are about 7 – 8 courses that are well within 25 miles from the cabin – Big Fish in Hayward rated #7 in the State, and the Spooner golf club is close; and a beautiful course. Check out the Washburn County website.

Location is 6 miles north of Spooner, and 20 Mile’s west of Hayward. 130 miles from the Twin Cities. Bring your boat and have a blast!
