Welcome to our get-away. Just 2 hours from the Twin Cities!

Our lakeside retreat is on the Western shores of Big McKenzie lake and situated on 3.7 wooded acres. Enjoy the up-north feel in this cabin on perfect elevation among mature pines, privacy and commanding views.

The main living area provides the up-north feel with 1/2 log walls, stone faced gas fireplace, a large vaulted ceiling and a wall of windows giving you a perfect view of the outdoors and the lake. The master suite has a stone faced gas fireplace, his/her sinks, jacuzzi tub, over sized shower and access to the deck. The large kitchen with hickory cabinets has all the amenities of home and then some. Upstairs is a full bathroom and two loft bedrooms with great vaults and plenty of sleeping room. Finally, the screened porch is where you’re guaranteed to spend time during the warmer weather. Sit back, relax, play cards and enjoy the quiet of the evening…bug free!

Additional amenities include: Satellite TV on a 42″ plasma, DVD, TV & DVD in the master suite, laundry, gas grill, central air. Linens and bath towels are also provided.

Big McKenzie is a 1185 acre, clear water lake perfect for fishing and water recreation. It is host to two bar/restaurants that also provide lake access. You have direct access to over 270′ of weed free, sandy lakeshore.

Other things to do: Voyager Village golf, tennis and restaurant are just 15 minutes away. Play the slots in Hertl (20 min) or drive to Danbury (1/2 hr) to the Hole in the Wall Casino. Siren is a great place for souvenir shops, lunch and a movie. Or, head to Hayward (40 minutes) to see the giant muskie and have lunch at the first Famous Dave’s ever built.

Rental price is $425.00 per night (3 night minimum) or $2,800.00 per week (6 nights). **Available holidays for an additional fee.**

Additional fees:
$500.00 damage deposit (refunded upon inspection)
$150.00 non-refundable cleaning fee
(rates are based on a max of 10 occupants, $40 each additional person per night)
