Description

Cabin and one hundred feet of frontage on beautiful, crystal clear Shell Lake, a 2500 acre lake in Washburn County, Wisconsin. Shell Lake is one of the premier lakes of all Wisconsin.

Cabin has large attached deck, firepit with firewood, dock for your boat, lakeside deck for working on that tan, plenty of parking on a secluded and heavily forested (dead-end) road.

The immediate area has one of the largest stands of maple, oak, basswood and ash in Northwest Wisconsin. The road leading into the cabin is canopied by this huge stand of hardwoods.

Neighborhood is very quiet, perfect for getting away from it all.

Cabin includes bedding, towels and dishes.

The lake offers great fishing (bass, walleye, northern, musky and pan fish) right off the dock or in your boat, plus water skiing, sailing, kayaking and swimming.

Kayak, canoe, bike, boat and pontoon rentals are available.

No jet skis, please.

Area offers biking, hiking, horseback riding, plenty of restaurants or just plain relaxing in a beautiful quiet setting. The Shell Lake Arts Center offers many free concerts at the lakeside pavilion.

Shell Lake is only two hours from the Twin Cities, 3 hours from the Rochester area.

Book early for prime 2009 summer weeks. We were booked all of June/July/Aug in 2008.

The week of July 4 carries a premium of $100 over the normal weekly rate. Return renters enjoy a $50 per week discount.
